Set against the rolling apple orchards of Marlboro, New York, The Orchard House is a thoughtfully curated new-construction residence rooted in the natural beauty of the Hudson Valley.

In collaboration with A. Morano Construction, designer Barbra worked closely with homeowners and contractors Andy Morano Sr. and Andrew Morano Jr. to bring this custom home to life, balancing refined craftsmanship with warm, organic materials throughout.

At the heart of the home, inset cabinetry by Crystal Cabinetry creates a tailored, furniture-like presence. A custom paint color defines the kitchen perimeter, while natural White Oak introduces warmth and texture throughout the island, fireplace nook, select areas of the kitchen, and dining room. Panel-ready appliances are seamlessly integrated into the cabinetry, preserving the clean architectural lines and understated elegance of the space.

The result is a home that feels sophisticated yet deeply inviting—where custom details, natural materials, and thoughtful design come together effortlessly against a quintessential Hudson Valley backdrop.

This project extends well beyond the kitchen, with the Primary Bath, Laundry Room, and Walk-In Pantry to be added to the portfolio as the full story of The Orchard House continues to unfold.
